This course is designed for skin care distributors who need to train their product trainers and sales force. Content includes:

  • How to use a product-training manual as an educational resource and for linking product composition to skin structure and function.

  • How to put together a presentation based on fact not marketing hype

  • Dos and don'ts of delivering a presentation

  • Doing "In salon" presentation and consultations and training.

  • Getting the best out of skin diagnostic equipment and using it correctly.

  • Sales and how to handle objections

  • Understanding different learning techniques

  • Understanding competency based training

  • Setting training objectives

  • Designing handouts and training aids

  • Questioning techniques

Business Therapy (half day)
  • This half day course helps the owner/operator of a salon determine how much it costs to be in (or stay in) business and how much you need to charge to be profitable. 

  • We show you how to determine your "salon hour" and "labour unit " costs, enabling you to quickly establish the correct charge out rate for the labour content of  your services.

  • Also included is how to set treatment costs, how to determine what your "shrinkage" or losses are with the products you use, and how to develop and implement services and procedures, systems and controls.

  • A must for anyone wanting to buy or start a beauty therapy business.

  • Available as one-on one up to groups of 25.

  • This course includes a CD of worksheets for you to take back to work to implement your costings.
